"Port of Bar" JSC signed a contract with the renowned company "Liebherr-International AG" on the purchase of a new port mobile crane LHM 550. This investment is one of the most important steps towards the modernization and improvement of the operational capacities of the Port of Bar and will enable faster, safer and more efficient cargo handling.

Positive expectations for the future use of this crane are based on experiences with mobile harbor cranes of the same manufacturer that we already use. The nominal capacity of the crane is 144 tons, and the reach is 54 meters.

After the fall of the transshipment bridges, we worked intensively and dedicatedly to find the most economical and optimal solution in order to return the operational efficiency to the previous level. We had to realize this significant investment of 4.9 million euros (without VAT) exclusively from our own funds through a loan.

The purchase of the mentioned harbor crane represents the largest single investment in "Port of Bar" JSC in the last 15 years (after the rehabilitation of the main breakwater), and precisely by realizing it, we will additionally strengthen the position of a reliable partner in the logistics and transport chain and open up opportunities for new business arrangements.
